Here are some basic words used both in this website, and in the computer world.
-GHz/MHz- Measurement of speed, GHz is faster than MHz.
-Core- Number of actual "Processors" in a processor. A Dual Core is a Processor with two "processors" While a quad has 4 cores
-Hyperthreading- Process of splitting a CPU workload over two threads
-VGA- Video Graphics Array- Older video unit, uses analog and is not capable of HD
-DVI- Digital Video Interface- Newer video unit, uses digital and is capable of HD
-HDMI- High Definition Multimedia Interface- Same signal as DVI, except can transmit audio signals as well
-Terabyte - Unit of Storage, one Terabyte is equal to 1024 Gigabytes
-Gigabyte - Unit of Storage, one Gigabyte is equal to 1024 Megabytes
-RAM - Random Access Memory
-CPU - Central Processing Unit (Processor)
-GPU - Graphics Processing Unit (Video Card)
-APU - Accelerated Processing Unit (Lamens terms, it's a CPU with "beefier" integrated graphics, not common in Desktop space)
-PSU- Power Supply Unit
